Situation

The hotel is perched above the roofs of the village of Oberhofen and enjoys a superb view on Lake Thun and the surrounding Bernese Alps.

Arrival by car

Arriving on highway A1 Zurich/Bern/Geneva continue in Bern on highway A6 towards Interlaken. Leave the highway at exit 16 Thun Nord and continue towards the center of the city (Thun Zentrum). Then you follow the road along the lake, with the lake on your right, with the road signs 'Gunten, Interlaken'. Oberhofen is the 3rd villager after leaving Thun. In Oberhofen you just follow the signs for the Park Hotel which will lead you uphill to the hotel.

Arrival by public transportation

Intercity trains arrive in Thun every half an hour from Bern and from Brig. From Basle, Zurich or Geneva you might have to change trains in Bern, but immediate continuation of the journey is guaranteed.

If you are arriving by the high seed train from Paris, you will also change trains in Bern.

From the train station in Thun you can reach Oberhofen by bus in only 12 min. The bus leaves in the front of the train station every 15 min. Get off at Oberhofen-Dorf (village) and walk uphill to the hotel.
